Executive coaching
Executive Coaching is individual coaching that is offered to executives and people in leadership who display great potential. Coaching at this level focuses on leadership, personal and organisational vision and mission, management and comprehensive succession planning.
Leadership starts from within - Executive coaching is not remedial coaching. Instead it is the fine-tuning
of the interpersonal skills of an already high-performing and successful individual. Executive coaching is business coaching that provides an environment in which executives can clarify their vision and strategy for the self and the organisation. This has the potential to foster broad cultural change within the organisation.
We view and explore the executive’s coaching objectives in the realms of organisational leadership, interpersonal leadership and personal leadership. As external partners, we are able to offer leaders the objective feedback they need to nourish their growth. For some leaders, it is also the only forum in which they can freely express ideas, concerns and challenges.
True North practises a style of coaching known as integral coaching. Coaching is non-directive and focuses on assisting an individual to become more self-aware and to know their strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to make more informed decisions. By broadening their perspective on themselves and their reactions in particular situations and to others, the executives are able to self-correct.
Executive coaching seeks to develop leaders who think deeply and who use their understanding and belief in themselves and others to unify groups, initiate action and catalyse personal growth. A primary result of the coaching is that executives start to create and build the future that they desire, both for themselves and the organisation.
